  I like the food even though it doesn't look anything like the pictures they show you.
  My big complaint is that every single El Pollo Loco store is filthy dirty .
  I cannot imagine that the owners/managers are not aware of the neglect and layer upon layer of old dirt from the floors clear up to the ceilings.
  It's so bad that they would have to shut these stores down for two or three days to remove the built up filth. I've been in old, worn out places that were as clean as my mom's kitchen. So it's about standards.
  El Pollo Loco in this area has extremely low standards with regard to the publics experience.
