  I pity you if you are reading this and feel you have reached the peak of your physical performance and or the peak of your life in general. I began my crossfit journey 2 years ago and in these past 2 years have found that my peak performance is yet to come and my peak in life is a long ways off as well. The reason for this belief is partly found in my finding Crossfit and partly in finding Crossfit Conejo Valley. Crossfit as a work out system has enabled me to physically surpass the shape I was in when I was a 20 year old private in the US Army performing physical training 5 days a week. Crossfit at Conejo Valley has allowed me to realize that even that performance, as awesome as it is to be able to do this at 40 years old, is merely a step in my fitness stairway and how high that stairway goes is entirely dependent on me. I have attended many Crossfit gyms across the country and there are two things that I know to be true no matter what. One, anyone can do Crossfit no matter your sex, your body type or your age. It's a matter of belief. And two, that belief is truly dependent on the coaches you receive instruction from and the people at the gym who inspire you everyday. This last fact is the true strength of Conejo Valley and the main reason you should join. My last couple of tidbits about Crossfit. If you go to a gym don't be intimidated by the movements or by the athletes. That person that you see doing all that work started exactly where you are now. So, that could be you if you apply yourself. Also, you can't put a pricetag on certain things and your health is one of them. Yes, a Crossfit gym is more expensive than a normal, "Globo Gym", but you get your moneys worth. Well, that's all I got. I hope it helps you make that choice that makes your life better today and for a bunch of todays yet to come.
